Welcome to the Kellogg Hubbard Library Renaissance Faire! This is a new event put on by the Children's Department.
The Faire is primarily for the children, but kids ages 1-100 are welcome on the lawn. We aim to be a fun event to add a little medieval spice to your life.
Below you will find more information for people wishing to attend as well as those wishing to participate.
Attendee Information
- The Faire is open to people of all ages, however it is targeted to a young audience. Please be mindful that there will be a number children on the lawn.
- Costumes are encouraged, but not mandatory for entrance to the Faire. Feel free to show off your creativity, but please keep it appropriate.
- Firearms, even toy ones will not be tolerated.
- Swords, daggers are allowed, however they must be sheathed and peace-tied. [Meaning they must be secured so they are unable to be drawn.] This holds true for play swords as well--we don't want anyone getting hurt. If you are unsure as to how to do this there will be someone on the lawn all day to assist.
- Dogs are not allowed on the lawn. There will be a number of animals and for the safety of your dog and our animals, we don't want anyone getting spooked.
- Finally, please remember that this is first and foremost for the children, act responsibly.
